Google TV Streamer issues and solutions

Google TV Streamer is a big change from Chromecast with Google TV, but for the most part it’s a positive change. While the new streamer has a lot of positives, it’s not without its drawbacks. Although most users will not experience any major issues or glitches, they may occur.

This guide explains some of the most common issues with Google TV Streamer and how to resolve them. To be fair, many of these issues are also common to almost all Android TV devices, so we’ll only focus on some of the biggest issues and issues specific to Google TV Streamer. Audio sync issues

If you’ve encountered the problem of video and audio getting out of sync with Google TV Streamer, you’re not alone. This isn’t a very common issue, but it’s important enough that Google has officially acknowledged the existence of this issue and plans to fix it in a future update. Of course, it’s worth doing a little troubleshooting before assuming your audio sync issues are related to this bug.

Possible solutions

• Are you using a Bluetooth device, such as headphones or a Bluetooth soundbar? If so, try testing other audio sources to see if the issue persists. If the issue does not occur with another speaker or audio source, the sync may be related to a faulty Bluetooth hardware.
• If it’s not related to the speaker issue, it’s likely an issue that Google says will be fixed in the future. It doesn’t hurt to reboot or perform a complete factory reset before giving up completely. Both methods are described at the end of this guide.

You could technically get by without a remote by using Google TV or the Google Home app as a virtual remote control, but no one wants that unless they have no other choice. Unfortunately, remote issues are one of the most common problems with Android TV. The first step is literally to get a new battery. I might have done that before I got here, but I don’t know. If that’s not the issue, below are some possible solutions.

• Try restarting your TV and remote to reestablish the connection. To do this, you need to control your TV using an app.
• Settings (gear icon) > Device settings > Restart. While the device is restarting, remove the battery and only put it back in after the TV restarts.
• Still not going? Google TV Streamer has more processing power, more storage, and more RAM than Chromecast with Google TV. As you can imagine, it usually works pretty perfectly. Until it doesn’t. If your favorite app is running slower than usual or crashing completely, there are several possible solutions.

• If your app fails to load or is slow to load, first check to make sure there is no problem with your internet. One way to check is to run a speed test on another device on your network. If everything works fine, the connection may not be the cause of the slowdown. In fact, if you notice overall slowness, an issue with the app may be the culprit.
• Is this happening with all apps? You can also try restarting your device or running a system update. Both steps are explained below.
• Is it only happening in one app or just a few apps? If so, you’ll need to look at each app that’s experiencing the issue. you go to [設定]>[アプリ]. • Still not working? You need to delete and reinstall the app.
• If that doesn’t work, it may be time for a complete factory reset. You probably won’t be able to move after that.

This is another problem that applies to many Android TV and Google TV devices, and of course phones. When it comes to Google TV Streamer, there are several possible solutions.

• Variable refresh rate or display resolution could also be the issue here. One possible solution is to change the display settings from Auto to your TV’s native resolution. In some cases, a small issue may prevent your display from being detected properly.

How to restart Google TV Streamer

There are three ways to restart Google TV Streamer. First, simply unplug the power cable, leave it there for a minute, then plug it back in. Settings (Gear) > System > Restart Use your remote control to press or press the power button on your remote for 8 seconds to fully reset.

How to factory reset Google TV Streamer

There are actually two methods, but let’s start by using the remote control.

• go to setting (Gear) Please select SSystem > About > Factory Reset.
• Follow any on-screen prompts and once complete, your device will be fully reset.

You can also reset the device directly, such as when the OS does not boot properly. Press and hold the button on the back for 10-12 seconds and the LED will start flashing yellow. Once the LED turns white, release the button to begin the factory reset process.

How to update Google TV Streamer
