Capcom has confirmed that pre-orders are now open on Apple’s App Store.
Another major Resident Evil game will be coming to Apple’s hardware ecosystem by the end of the year. Capcom has officially confirmed that the 2019 Resident Evil 2 remake will be released for iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices in late 2024. Additionally, pre-orders for the app are currently being accepted.
Capcom announced some details about the upcoming iOS release of Resident Evil 2 in a social media post for the game series. This includes sharing the official Resident Evil 2 page on the App Store, where customers can pre-order the game on their devices of choice. Users who want to play games on their devices must have an iPhone 15 or newer, or at least an Apple device with an M1 chip or newer.

We don’t know when Resident Evil 2 will arrive on Apple devices. Capcom only shared that the game will be released in late 2024. Additionally, the game requires players to have an online connection at launch, so it may not be possible to simply play Resident Evil 2 offline on Apple devices. . Despite this, Resident Evil 2 is a great game and considered by many to be the shining star of Capcom’s remakes to date.
