At the beginning of 2025, Samsung will do what it does at the beginning of every year. It’s about launching the new Galaxy S flagship lineup. The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are the successors to the hugely popular Galaxy S24 series and come with several upgrades.
However, as evidenced by photos of what appears to be a screen protector for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, it is similar to its predecessor in some ways, including the size and dimensions of the screen.
This photo also gives you a glimpse of the Ultra model’s curvaceous design. The Galaxy S25 Ultra has rounded corners, like the base and Plus models, which help make its massive body more manageable, especially when used with one hand.
The corners on the Ultra model aren’t 100% rounded like the S25 and S25+, but that’s because of the S Pen slot. While early renders didn’t show an S Pen slot on the S25 Ultra, recent leaks have revealed that the S Pen slot is nowhere to be found, and the S25 Ultra screen protector provides further evidence of that.
Looking at the screen protector, we can see that the Galaxy S25 series has the same minimal bezels as the S24 series phones (with the exception of the Galaxy S24 FE). Like the bezels, the display specs are also likely to remain unchanged next year, but we expect Samsung to feature Gorilla Glass Armor on all three models.
Gorilla Glass Armor debuts on the Galaxy S24 Ultra and is an innovation in smartphone display glass. Gorilla Glass Featuring incredible scratch resistance compared to Victus 2 and other previous versions of Corning Gorilla Glass, it reduces the need for a screen protector and significantly reduces reflections and glare.
This year, Samsung used Gorilla Glass Armor only on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 come with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra have anti-reflective coatings similar to the S24 Ultra, but without Gorilla Glass Armor. Either.
