Apple’s AirPods are notoriously expensive, but there’s a reason they’re popular. If you want to see what all the fuss is about without (completely) breaking the bank, shopping events like Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days could be the perfect opportunity to pick up a pair of headphones.
Now that the October Prime members-only sale has officially begun, the AirPods sale is in full swing, with the Pro now at its lowest price ever and the AirPods 4 with and without ANC discounted.

Prime Big Deal Days runs until October 9th at 11:59pm PDT, and we’ve seen some of the best AirPods deals sell out in the past. If you’ve been waiting to buy a pair, now is a good time. The only other time the Pros and Lightning AirPods Max reached their current prices this year was during Prime Day in July (the Max dropped slightly again earlier this summer). It wouldn’t be outlandish to see these prices drop during Black Friday, but if you don’t want to wait, don’t expect these headphones to reach the same price range between the two shopping holidays.

The reason we recommend these earbuds in basically every headphone buying guide is because they do exactly what they claim to do. The noise canceling is among the best in earphones, the sound is solid, and the battery life is pretty long. Prices tend to be on the expensive side, but picking it up while it’s down to $168.99 is a great move. Throughout the year, you’ll regularly see these earphones drop to $199, and a little more regularly to $189. Although these earphones are no longer new, I think this sale price will be even harder to catch and will probably only show up during shopping holidays until a new model is released.
