Ahead of the official launch of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 on October 9thththere are rumors that Samsung may include this chip in next year’s Galaxy S25. For more information, Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo X200 series on October 14, including the Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro Mini, and Vivo X200 Pro. According to Gizmochina, all models will be equipped with Dimensity 9400.
The Dimensity 9400 is said to deliver 36% better performance and 41% more AI performance compared to Cortex-X4 with the introduction of the Arm Cortex-X925 ultra-large core, notes Gizmochina.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 is said to have superior performance, but there are also rumors that the unit price of the SoC has increased by 20%, and smartphone manufacturers may be forced to adjust the prices of their flagship models, according to Wccftech points out.
However, Wccftech indicates that the aforementioned concerns have been allayed after it was revealed that the base model of Vivo’s latest lineup, the X200, will have a starting price of 3,999 yuan (approximately $570 USD) per unit.
