3 reasons to wait for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
- Performance and AI features: Apple announced A18 Pro series chips with upgraded neural engine and performance cores. Your smartphone can deliver the best performance and receive Apple intelligence at the same time. Additionally, Apple plans to release AI in stages, so users will have to wait even longer. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which could give it stiff competition from the A18 Pro chip. Additionally, Samsung’s Galaxy AI capabilities are advanced and new advanced features are likely to be added soon after launch.
- Competitive camera: Samsung and Apple’s high-end smartphones are evenly matched when it comes to camera performance. While the iPhone 16 Pro Max was introduced with some significant improvements and upgrades, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is set for an even bigger upgrade. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will likely feature a 200MP main camera with 100MP space zoom capability and offer a higher level of optical zoom. Meanwhile, it is speculated that the ultra-wide camera has been upgraded from 12MP to 50MP. It may also include an upgraded telephoto lens with variable focal length.

3. Improved lightweight design: According to rumors, the Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max are likely to have a similar display size of 6.9 inches. However, this year Samsung is expected to bring design improvements with curved edges, slimmer bezels, and thinner side rails. Therefore, it is expected that the overall weight of smartphones will be reduced. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, on the other hand, has a bulkier design and weighs 227 grams. Well, we’ll have to wait and see how Samsung plans to upgrade the design.
