Vivo and iQOO smartphones are currently receiving the Android 15 update ahead of Google Pixel devices. This makes the Chinese brand the first OEM to roll out Android 15. The latest FuntouchOS 15, based on Android 15, has been announced with several premium features. Android 15 is scheduled to roll out to Google Pixel smartphones in October, but many Pixel users are currently using a beta version of the operating system. It’s worth noting that Google typically prioritizes releasing the latest Android operating system for Pixel devices.
Funtouch OS 15 update is available for iQOO 12 in India. Users of this premium phone will be able to download the new operating system from September 30th. Additionally, Funtouch OS 15 has been released for Vivo’s latest foldable smartphones, the X Fold 3 Pro and X100 series. These devices from Vivo and iQOO are among the first to receive the Android 15 update.
Funtouch OS 15 includes several new features and improvements. Users can benefit from new smart scheduling algorithms that prioritize computing power and app tasks based on their requirements. Additionally, dynamic effects have been introduced to provide a more natural visual experience. These enhancements in Funtouch OS 15 are adopted from the Chinese version of Origin OS. The new operating system is more responsive overall and provides a better user experience.
Additionally, iQOO and Vivo device users will now have access to customization options for AI features within the new Funtouch OS 15. Features such as AI Magic Eraser, Image Lab, and Live Transcribe will be available on the new operating system.
Privacy and security features have also been enhanced, and users can expect improved cross-device experience with the new operating system.
