Now that Android 15 is rolling out to all Pixel devices, you’re probably poking around in your settings wondering what new features to look for. We’ve already given you a full list of new Pixel Feature Drop items, but we think there are a few that you should definitely change, or at least consider changing.
Here are three settings worth changing in Android 15.
adaptive vibration: If you want weaker vibrations when you’re in a quiet place (like your desk) and stronger vibrations when you’re on the go or in a noisy environment, you can set the vibration intensity on your Pixel phone on an ongoing basis. Masu. Google recognized this need and created Adaptive Vibration.
This new setting, as you can see in the image above, “automatically adjusts your phone’s vibrations based on your environment, like in your pocket or in a noisy location.” Google believes that by using your phone’s microphone and “other” sensors, it can determine audio levels and conditions and adjust accordingly (without having to record any data “at all”).

App archive: This next feature isn’t exactly a setting to turn on or off, but it’s a setting or option in your phone’s app that’s worth considering, especially if you think you’re low on storage. App archiving is part of Android 15 and is a way to delete large parts of your apps to free up space while preserving important data like login information. If you decide to put your app back, you can do so and in most cases you can quickly jump back to where you left off before archiving. It’s a neat little trick.
If you want to archive apps to free up space,[設定]>[アプリ]Proceed to[すべての xxx アプリを見る]Tap to get a complete list of apps on your device. Next, tap the app you want to archive,[アンインストール]button and[強制停止]next to the button[アーカイブ]Tap the button. that’s it!
If you want your app back, just follow these steps again and tap on “Restore” that appears instead of Archive.
Anti-theft: Finally, you should definitely check out the new anti-theft feature settings that Google has released for Pixel devices. This new feature set attempts to instantly protect your device if someone steals or loses it.

The first two are theft detection lock and offline device lock. These two options are for when someone steals your device. It tries to recognize that the device has been stolen and locks it when you try to take it offline.
The third option is remote locking. As the name suggests, you can lock your device through the phone number connected to your device.
This all seems like a no-brainer to turn on.
