So much for rumors at the time about how Apple CEO Tim Cook was uncomfortable with Apple TV+ shows that depicted creepy, sexy times between characters. Streamer’s latest work – directed by Alfonso Cuaron Disclaimerwhich is actually one of the biggest TV shows in all of streaming right now. It happens to be an erotic thriller and is so steamy that the just-released third episode includes a “sexual content” warning at the beginning of the episode.

Regarding episode 3, one comment on Reddit said, “Okay.” “This is one of the naughtiest hours of television I’ve seen in a while, and I just finished watching it.” [HBO’s] industry. “

Of course, the age-gap sex scenes aren’t the only reason why this show is attracting everyone’s attention. And it’s not just the age-gap sex scenes that streaming search engine Reelgood currently ranks the show No. 1 on its list of top streaming TV shows. 7 parts DisclaimerThe film follows Apple’s tried-and-true strategy that has guided some of its most talked-about shows, with a story about a journalist who is horrified to discover that he is the protagonist of a novel that reveals his darkest secrets.

NPR describes the show as “a sprawling thriller built for the streaming era.” As we noted, the show is also Reelgood’s No. 1 streaming title at the moment.

Reelgood monitors 20 million viewing decisions each month across all U.S. streaming platforms, from Apple TV+ to Max, Peacock, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Prime Video, and Paramount+. Here are the 10 TV shows that topped Reelgood’s latest weekly rankings for the seven days ending Oct. 16.

  1. Disclaimer (Apple TV+)
  2. no one wants this (Netflix)
  3. penguin (HBO/Max)
  4. high potential (Hulu)
  5. tea cup (peacock)
  6. agatha forever (Disney Plus)
  7. Murder inside the building only (Hulu)
  8. from (Prime Video, MGM+ S3)
  9. slow horse (Apple TV+)
  10. old man (FX/Hulu)

There is one thing worth adding about the above list. For those who haven’t seen Max’s site yet. penguinwhich is basically a mafia drama masquerading as an extension of the Batman universe. I say this as the highest compliment. Colin Farrell does a Tony Soprano-like impression as Oz Cobb (aka The Penguin), while Cristin Milioti is an absolute revelation as Sofia Falcone of the Falcone crime family. No spoilers, but she’s solely responsible for making the show’s fourth episode one of the most-watched episodes in TV history.

Meanwhile, if you look ahead to next week, there’s at least one major release scheduled that could quickly land you on the Reel Good rankings no matter how much you spend. It’s a Netflix production. diplomatthe highly anticipated second season arrives on October 31st. You can check out a preview of the show’s new season here. Basically, diplomat One of the best Netflix original dramas of the past few years, in my humble opinion. Starring Keri Russell as the ambassador who constantly defuses foreign affairs, the film was created by classic veterans such as: hometown and west wing. In other words, you’re a winner.
